The Art Of Life….
ArterNet Art — Online Art Gallery. 26th July 2021
Hi There Artist Friends — Here is Your Monday Art Note # 9
Todays Monday Art Note is not so much about Art per se,
but more about the art of life!
I’m not a huge sports fan and I’m quite ho-hum about the Olympics, unless New Zealand is winning…of course.
Quite frankly, I’m more annoyed that the Olympics have interrupted my routine of life by depriving me of my daily 5pm fix of ‘The Chase’.
So it was a huge surprise to me, when I stopped knitting, to watch the Tunisian swim in that courageous last 50m of the 400m men’s freestyle swim. I was willing him on and when he touched the finish line and won — I erupted off the sofa, punched my fist in the air with tears welling in my eyes, shouted ‘YAY…Good on you!…Well done!’
It was a thrilling and exhilarating moment in time! Where the underdog won the Gold medal. And wasn’t the coach a delight to watch also.
As I pondered on it the next morning I found myself still savouring that moment, it occurred to me that this is the same feeling we are aiming for here at ArterNet Art!
Yes, that’s how we and the members of our community will feel when an artist sells a piece of art on our platform. We will feel ecstatic and we will shout out ‘YAY…Good on you! Well done!’
Congratulations to Ahmed from the team at ArterNet Art.
And lastly dear artist — let me remind you, we are building an online Artists city.
Here’s what we won’t do:
· We won’t charge a commission on your art sales made through our platform!
· We won’t ask you to discount your artwork!
· We won’t ask you to accept low offers!
· We won’t ask you to ship your artwork for free!
Thanks to all those for their
